Things to Bring
Alright, since I know last time everyone was a little sketchy on what to bring, and if they would need/use it, I'm going to make a list here of things that you should defenitly bring!
The List
Necessities
Makeup You will be honestly suprised at how many people forget this, and how many think they wont need it, and then end up do. So DON'T forget to bring it! (Unless you don't wear it, which in that case, don't worry about it!)
hairbrush You will also be suprised at this one! (even I forgot! Boy was that bad!)
bobbypins I used these SOOOO much! I'm super glad I brought a big pack!
A small sewing kit Even though your costumes I know are perfect and amazing, there are those times when you catch them on something, and RIP! So be sure to bring something to be able to repair it!
Toothe Brush & Toothpaste Since I assume we are going to have a reasonably big amount of people in the room, we really don't want your breath to smell. So don't forget this. :'D
DEODERANT OMG. MAKE A GOOD EXAMPLE FOR YOUR FELLOW NERDS! WEAR DEODERANT! The amount of smelly anime nerds that are going to be there is going to be crazy. So at least try and smell good for us. :'D
Chapstick~ You'll need it, trust me.
Sunscreen It is usually SUPER hot during the day, which causes sunburns! D: So be sure to bring some sunscreen~
Jewelery Okay, this is a questionable area, mostly because if you are going to bring it, you are responsible for it, and if you lose it, it's your loss. I'm not going to keep track of it. So if you want
Shampoo and Conditioner DON'T BE SMELLY. D8
Bar of Soap Because I can't gaurentee that there will be soap in the hotel for everyone.
Hair ties! You will need them, and alot of them, because someone ALWAYS forgets!
Hair burners a.k.a. Curling iron and hair straightener! Yes, you will probably decide at the last minute that you want to do your hair all kinds of nice, so don't forget these~
Electronics
DS BRING YER DS. D: Last year we had a TOTAL blast with 'em! There are so many rooms, and games open it's insane! It's a great way to meet new people and to chit chat and be awesome. :'D
Cellphone Our most reliable source of communication! So don't forget to bring it!
Laptop For those of you who have them, it may be a good idea to have one person bring ONE in case we need to go and look something up, like directions to a resturant etc... So planning to have someone bring one would probably be a good idea.
Chargers This is a seperate section because it is that important. BRING YOUR CHARGERS. A dead cellphone or DS is no use to anyone. So make sure you bring them.
iPod This may be a little iffy to bring although it's great to listen to it while waiting in line, although we'll have our DS's so we'll have entertainment. But just in case is nice.
PS2/XBox/Gamecube/Wii I may bring my PS2 just because during the downtime between events and things, there isn't much to do, so having a game system would be fun so we don't have to pay a billion dollars to watch a payperview movie. So discuss this with me!
Clothes because it isn't obvious
Shirts Try and bring normal shirts and tank tops, because like I said, it gets rather hot.
Undergarments Duh?
Pants Bring pants, and shorts, because it will be hot, and you will be indecisive.
PJ's Because we all know how uncomfortable it can be to sleep in your normal clothes!
Socks! BRING SOCKS. It sucks not having socks. I totally almost forgot, and I would have died. Bring socks guys. D:
Shoes Try and bring tennis shoes, and flips flops, and then a pair of dress shoes. The flip flops for walking around the hotel and when it's too hot to wear tennis shoes, The tennis shoes to walk around the con in, and then the dress shoews for when we have all of the hotel dances and things!
Belts Might be a good idea in case those new pants you brought, aren't as tight as you thought they would be. :] We did have an incident. x_X;
baithing suit Because there will probably be a pool at our hotel, and it'll probably be hot, and we'll probably want to get in it. So it'd be a good idea to bring one.
Hats/Sunglasses Probably a good idea to keep the sun out of your eyes.
Dress Clothes Like a dress, or a nice shirt and khaki's for the dances that we will be attending~
Costumes! I don't know what to tell you to help here because I don't know if you are dressing up or not, and as who! So you're on your own here!
Other
Bedding Since I don't know what out hotel plans are going to be, and some people might be chilling on the floor again, bring it just in case.
Money I assume that was an obvious, but just in case.
Drawing Materials This includes pencils, pens, markers, colored pencils, paper etc.. because we know there will be a point in time where we want to doodle, so don't forget this!
Purse/backpack Bring something to carry stuff around in because you may not always have pockets, and I am damn sure that everyone isn't going to want to carry all of your crap around!
DVD/Book's Since there is downtime, it might be a good idea to bring one of these. We can plug my PS2 in to watch DVD's! it'll be grand~
Sharpies For autographs~
